It takes a lot of people to make Forest Hill Community Church work and right now we need some help.
There are many gifts and skills in our church, and if you have time there are many opportunities to serve. Both in terms of current needs, and also to grow and develop our ministry. If you are interested in any of the following please speak to Nigel Desborough.
Here For Good: To review the use of, and fabric of the building, and to project manage a refurbishment and upgrade.
Overseas Missions: To join a small group to stay in contact with, and support our overseas workers.
Trustees: To become a trustees of FHCC Ltd. (particularly if you have some financial acumen).
Children’s Church: To join a team working with children on Sunday morning, once or twice a month.
Student contact and support: Keeping in touch with, and praying for our students while they are away at Uni.
Welcoming: Supporting Jenny and others to welcome new people into the church.
ESOL: English language teacher, or class helper, for people in the community who need to learn English. Mondays, daytime, term-time at HFG.
Switch IT! Football and life project for local young people . Football coaching, personal mentoring, and management committee support opportunities available. Thursday evenings at Sydenham High School.
Hope Centre: Occasionally opening up for customers on a Saturday afternoon or evening if Joe and Emma are away. Also to be part of a decorating team to do a day or two of painting.
Sunday mornings: Help on a regular basis at 9—9.45am to carry the heavy PA equipment and help set it up.
