Hello everyone and welcome to the Switch It! Football and Life page. Switch It! is a football project for young people (age 10-16). We offer a place where young people of all backgrounds and cultures can come together and enjoy playing football and learning new skills, regardless of ability. We also make it our aim to look at ways in which we can help young people tackle the many issues they face in today’s world. Whether it be struggles at school, problems with homework, bullying, drug problems, family troubles etc… we are here to help and support.

At Switch It! we are eager to make links and network with people, organisations and other projects in our community.  Since the beginning in Feb 2007 Switch It! Football and Life has worked with Lewisham Council, who have provided funding to make Switch It! possible, and we thank them very much for this. More recently Switch It! has managed to obtain funding from the Football Foundation for football kits and equipment. We would also like to thank them very much for this.  If you want to work together with Switch It! just let me know.

Switch It! currently runs on Thursday’s 6:30pm – 8pm at Sydenham High School (Amberley Grove, Sydenham, London, SE26) the cost is £1 per session. Please click the flyer below for more info.

We should also be launching new projects in Catford and Forest Hill (Malham Road Estate). Watch out for more info.
