There’s two Tnet events this Saturday, both of the main sexes being catered for:
SATURDAY 18th MAY – MEN’S WALK
The Men’s walk will be around Cudham, Surrey. We will meet in the car park in Cudham which is near the Blacksmiths Arms Pub at 2.15pm. Directions are: Get on to the A21 and go through Locksbottom, across Farnborough Common onto Farnborough Way until you come to the large roundabout near Green Street Green. Take 3rd exit onto Cudham Lane North. That takes you into the village, keep going through the village and you come to the Blacksmith Arms Pub on your left. The free car park is just past the pub on your left. The walk is 3.5 miles and we will finish at the pub at about 5pm after some refreshment. People will be free to stay on as they wish.
This coming Sunday we’re going to meet as normal in the morning, and the join with other Transform Network churches in the evening at Crofton Park Baptist Church from 6.30pm – 8.30pm. We’ll worship, hear from God’s word, and pray together. It’s gonna be great, so if you can be there, do.
Transform Network, our family of churches in South East London, are becoming a training centre for the New Wine Discipleship Year as of September 2013. We’re really excited, and a bunch of local churches are on board. If you want to be involved or know someone who might, there’s more info here.
Collecting for the upcoming lewisham foodbank is going really well! Luke has already weighed in 1.4 tonnes of food, with more still to count. However, we’re not stopping there. As a church, this coming Sunday, we’re taking a collection of food for the Foodbank. Please bring any items to donate from the list below! Bless you.
Milk (UHT or powdered)
Fruit Juice (long life carton)
Sponge Pudding (tinned)
Rice Pudding (tinned)
Tea Bags/Instant Coffee
Instant Mash Potato
Biscuits or Snack Bars
Thanks to all who came for #BlessingOver on Sunday, especially those who prayed, served, set up, set down, planned, played, or did anything!
It was a fantastic evening. We’re really grateful to Graham Kendrick for leading us in worship and prayer, and that so many people had it on their hearts to pray blessings over this part of our great city.
We invite you to join in a week of prayer and fasting. We really want to see God move in miraculous ways among us, particularly to see people healed from disease and any affliction.
Please consider how you will join in. Whether missing a meal once in the week or fasting for a few days straight, we can all be a part of calling in the reign of God’s kingdom in a more powerful and deeper way.
There will be a prayer meeting on Wednesday and Friday evenings from 8-10pm at the Here For Good centre.
