PERSONAL EVANGELISM TRAINING COURSE

A personal evangelism training course will be led by Stéphane Marcot and Shane Love in autumn.

The dates: 16th & 30th September, 7th & 21st October, 4th & 18th November, and 2nd December. Time and venue: 7.45pm at Malham Christian Centre, 118 Malham Road, SE23 0AN. More details from Nigel.

 

 

ALPHA

Peter Aleksin will run an Alpha course on Saturday mornings, starting on 25th September. Please pray about who you could invite.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Peartree Service

Our monthly communion service at the Peartree Nursing Home in Sydenham will take place on Wed. 8th September. Come and meet Conrad and Jenny at 10.15am at Here For Good, or at 11am in the foyer of the Nursing Home.

New Staff

On Sunday 12th September, we’ll have a special Sunday introducing our new staff and having a BBQ together after the service at Sydenham High School.

 

Listening Prayer Day

Marilyn and Stuart Checkley will be holding a LISTENING PRAYER DAY on Saturday 2nd October, 10am— 5pm. The aim is to learn hearing God’s voice by using Scripture.

Cost: £10 including refreshments and a training manual.

Healing Ministry Training Day

‘Developing a Healing Ministry’ is a New Wine training day organised by our church and taking place at Christ Church Anerley on Saturday 16th October. The guest speaker will be Ray Samme from St.Paul’s in Swanley/Kent.

The day is intended for all those who want to learn how to minister healing in the power of the Holy Spirit or as a refresher for those who are already doing so. Cost: £12. To book, please speak to Nigel or Uli.

A friend of Nigel Pocock’s is looking for a place to stay in London (for 1 or 2 people) every now and then and particularly for the nights of 28th & 29th August. Can pay small amount if required or help with chores. Contact: Ella Davison, 0117-949 0374.

We hope to be re-starting ESOL and English conversation classes from the beginning of September, but these will need to be confirmed at the time.

Our regular groups restart in the week starting 6th September.
